I have an excellent understanding of designing cost effective buildings that are buildable. Responsible for one of the largest commercial projects to be completed in London Docklands, as well numerous high profile buildings in the city.
Whether the design required is for a new build, refurbishment, alterations or residential extensions I will be pleased to assist. I have extensive experience designing in all materials including, concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber.

Surveys
I have been surveying buildings for over thirty years, from multimillion pound property portfolios to single residences.

Building defects
The list of defects that could be found in a building would need a book of its own to describe.
- Subsidence, heave, differential movement and drainage
- Unrestrained masonry, lack of masonry movement, excessive cracking, damp proof course problems, cavity tie corrosion

Auditing Design by Others
An inexpensive service that could either potentially yield large savings or at least give the client or the financial funders' peace of mind that the design is sound.
Historical Building Repairs
Restoration of listed buildings has to meet exacting standards.
I have been fortunate to survey and repair some of the largest single span timber timber trusses that formerly were part of a Napoleonic riding stables.
An original Elizabethan timber framed house extension was also critically examined for the type of timber specified by others.
